The Altura Esker Women's Trail Shorts are versatile MTB Shorts designed to both look and perform great both on and off the bike.

Developed to be at home on the trails, a durable fabric with added water-repellent coating adds protection from the elements and they can also be worn with knee protection when needed. The relaxed fit also features a handy zipped thigh pocket to keep your valuables safe and to hand.

Nice shorts. Trust the size guide!

Reading the other reviews about sizing, I ordered size 12 originally but they were too big so I then got a size 10 which seem much better. I wouldn't say the sizing is particularly small though, so I'm not sure why other people have found that. Service for the return was very prompt and easy and they seem nice shorts, though I haven't tried them on my bike yet.

Good quality, but useless zip pockets in thigh area apart from holding a tissue. Not keen on low waist either. i prefer high waisted shorts/trousers. But otherwise a comfortable fit. No rubbing while riding.

Really comfortable and a great change from my

Really comfortable and a great change from my usual lycra! I love the length and the pockets. They're not padded like lycra but if your saddle is a leather one, like mine, that's not a problem.
For a woman in her mid 60s (as I am) these shorts offered me more dignity but are no less comfortable. I bought one pair and then immediately bought another pair!
I'm a size 12 and this was a very comfy fit.

my new favourite shorts

I like these shorts , they fit me perfectly and look nice on bike and off, nice length and handy zip pockets
they are also really comfortable, good that they are water resistant also, so good I bought another pair, I am normally a size 8 in bike shorts , but ordered a 10 in these after reading reviews and they are perfect fit

Nice cut and features, but odd sizing!

I am 5"7 so tall but not very tall and I found that these have a very high and uncomfortable crotch (I also found this with two different sizes of trouser I ordered). I also found that they were tight around the thighs, which I didn't like. I have a skinny build and some leg muscles, but I don't think I have huge thigh muscles so I was quite disappointed in the fit. Quality seems fine, although I have only worn them a few times. They shrank even further when I washed them on a normal wash, so I regret not returning them at this point along with the trousers I ordered. Nice cut and features, but odd sizing!
